I grew up in the rural area in Kansas. I have lived in small towns and the country all of my life. I have loved art and creating for as long as I can remember. I would spend a lot of my time as a child and as a teen crafting, painting, drawing, and creating. It was something that never drained me of energy or resources. When I got into a project, I would spend all day on it and not realize how much time had passed by.
My first camera was a Kodak point and shoot. We could rarely afford film for it, but when I got allowance I would buy some film. I can remember pretending to take pictures when I was out of film. I remember taking pictures when I was maybe 8 or 9 years old with my best friend when she came over to spend the night. We took turns being the photographer and the model. 😬 I would have to say she was a much better model than I. 😂 But, I loved taking pictures. My next camera was a 35 mm that I purchased at a garage sale. It was a great deal and an awesome find!!! I was so excited!! 😃 When I was in my 20s, I got a digital camera and I loved taking pictures with it. Then when I got a digital phone I was always taking pictures, 😞 but I really really wanted a DSLR camera. It was always out of my price range. Last year, I received it, A Canon Rebel T6 as a christmas 🎄 gift from my husband 💝 I carry it with me everywhere. 😃
Photography allows me to capture the beauty of a single moment, allowing others to see the world from my perspective. The beauty that is held in that moment is priceless. It is exhilarating! Like capturing something that you could only find in a fairy tale and sharing it with the whole world.
I want to inspire and encourage others while capturing the beauty that I see around me. Nature is a canvas, day after day, painted with pictures of infinite beauty. Each day offers its own promise, its own inspiration and its own beauty and not a single one of them is the same as the last.
I don’t want to keep these moments just to myself. I want others to experience the joy, just like I do! I want to share my joy, my passion, and my love with you. You can bring joy to others by sharing beauty with them through one of a kind gifts made to be shared. You will feel the exhilaration of giving unique gifts to your friends, family, colleagues, and others throughout your community. Sharing beauty is a positive way to express many emotions that are hard to find the words for! It is a universal language that all understand!
